MADELEINE PEARS

I am a 21 year-old aspiring production manager from Vancouver, BC with a passion for character design and storytelling. 

I’ve been drawing and creating my own original stories and characters since I learned how to hold a pencil, and my goal is to work in animation and help bring amazing, captivating stories to life. Growing up, I religiously watched  Rankin and Bass, Danny Antonucci’s “Ed Edd n Eddy”, and other Teletoon and Cartoon Network shows, which all inspired me to want to pursue a career in animation. I’ve dedicated my life to being an animation nerd, obsessively drawing and looking for as much obscure content to soak up as possible. Character design and art development are my passion, and I crave any opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills.

I have been attending Emily Carr University since September 2022, and am currently studying 2D Animation. I hope to have opportunities working in the industry during and following the completion of my degree.
